FAQ

Q: What is whipped shea butter?

A: Unlike raw shea butter, which can be hard or grainy, whipped shea butter is aerated to create a light, creamy, souffle-like texture. This makes it easier to apply and quicker for your skin to absorb while retaining all the moisturizing benefits.

Q: Does it melt in transit?

A: Because our butter is whipped with natural oils and contains no synthetic stabilizers, it can melt in high temperatures. If your butter arrives melted, simply place it in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. It will solidify again; while the texture may be slightly denser, the skin benefits remain exactly the same.

Q: How should I store my shea butter?

A: Store your jar in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. To maintain the whipped texture, keep it below 25°C.

Q: Is this safe for sensitive skin or eczema?

A: Our whipped shea butter is made with natural ingredients. However, we always recommend doing a patch test on a small area of skin before full use, especially if you have known nut allergies (shea is a tree nut product).
